Arkansas White River Marathon

Why would we travel to Arkansas in November to run a Marathon? The answer is that it was the only Boston Qualifier we could find anywhere, and Staci had never been to Arkansas. We found a small marathon in Cotter, Arkansas (population 906) that we though would be safe to do in the middle of Covid.

This was our first airplane trip since Covid and it wasn’t that comfortable. After this trip we decided we would drive everywhere and not fly again for a while.

Staci found an amazing old mansion on Airbnb in Little Rock. We wanted to explore Little Rock but almost everything was closed due to Covid.

We both ran 3:39.40 and qualified for Boston.
